Case Study Hare Farm

New sussex holiday home was looking for a flexible and scalable web solution

The problem

As a new development and essentially a brand new business Joanna Thompson approached us again after working on the Kent Wool Growers project.

This time the brief was different, working with only a logo and a handful of photographs the requirement was for an "earthy" feel to the website with plenty of space for photographs and additional information over time.

Our solution

Using our Paprika CMS solution we produced a scalable website which can be managed by Hare Farm using any computer connected to the internet. Incorporating our new module to act as a blog, we also developed a custom booking enquiry module which can be managed through the CMS.

This custom development allows Hare Farm to quickly mark certain dates as unavailable as well as adjust prices for rental of the holiday home at a moments notice.

About Hare Farm Hideaways

Hare Farm's Oast was built around 1840 when hops were a lucrative crop. Gradually losing their viability in the 1960s and 1970s, the oast became a redundant building, no longer useful for modern farming methods.

The Oast's restoration was started in March 2010, and its full conversion into a self catering holiday home completed in June 2011.
