As one of the UK's most respected nightclubs with a reputation that is known nationally as well as locally, Audio needed a website to reflect their position in the club scene. Their previous site was quickly looking dated and failed to meet the flexible needs of the business on it's restrictive Wordpress platform.
With a constantly changing line up of DJ's and events, Audio Brighton wanted a CMS solution that could adapt with their needs and provide a more bespoke solution to the problem of promoting events online quickly and effectively.
Using our Paprika CMS as a basis, we developed various cusomisations including bespoke News and Events modules which have been developed specifically for Audio's needs.
With a mixture of jQuery and responsive web design there are various elements to the site which provide a slick user experience and interactivity that is not usually available on this kind of website.
Taking feeds from Soundcloud, You Tube and Flickr the site contains dynamic content which is automatically updated allowing the staff at Audio to keep all social media platforms up to date alongside the main website itself.
Since 2004 Audio has been changing the face of Brighton's music scene by creating a true "clubber's club". Audio is a venue that was planned, designed and run with the needs of genuine music-lovers in mind.
Audio remains the city's foremost quality venue today, from its stunning seafront terrace and bar to the stylish yet unpretentious club space below.
Hosting a wide range of cutting edge live and club music from across the board, Audio is home to legendary local institutions including Supercharged (drum and bass and dubstep), Warehouse (house and techno), Battlejam (Beardyman's original residency) and a plethora of independent nights and live shows, with everyone from Andrew Weatherall to Claude Von Stroke, Skream to The XX, Maya Jane Coles, James Zabiela, SBTRKT, Simian Mobile Disco and countless more regularly gracing the Audio stage.
